National Theatre: On Demand in Schools is to launch this September, with Danny Boyle's production of Frankenstein and Nicholas Hytner's productions of Shakespeare's Hamlet and Othello all free to stream on demand in classrooms for three years.
Each play has been recorded in front of a live theatre audience by National Theatre Live, and is accompanied by learning resources. Alice King-Farlow, Director of Learning at the NT, said 'In giving young people access to inspirational theatre, we aim to help schools to keep the arts as a vital part of the curriculum'.
